About myself

I see you made it to the end of my blog or you simply want to know a bit more about the person who made it.

Here we go:   

I am a 16-year-old girl from Germany and am training as a multilingual secretary. I don't really have any hobbies and if I'm    100% honest, I'm actually kind of lazy. I like to read sometimes and when I do, I mostly read in English. But you could say that I have an almost burning passion for Anime. Something about these "Japanese Cartoons" as some may call it, just has it for me. I grew up with anime movies, mostly from the Japanese animation studio "Studio Ghibli". And as I grew older I discovered anime as TV series and those actually helped me to get better in English, because if I watch it in Japanese with English subtitles I don't have any other choice than to study so that I can understand what's going on.

(NOTE: I already had a few years worth of knowledge in English before I started watching my shows in English. I wouldn't recommend watching something in a language you don't understand with English subtitles if you have no or very little English knowledge)

I made this website as a project for my apprenticeship but I kind of liked it. It was by no means easy but it was quite fun. I mean I (sort of) could ramble on and on about one of my favorite movies, as long as it was grammatically correct. (And I'm even getting a grade for that!) 

That paragraph grew longer than I expected. I'm sorry about that but my train of thoughts sometimes gets a bit lost. I still hope that maybe this blog serves another purpose than just to (hopefully) get me a good grade.
